Basic Blank Service Format (No-tax) (IMFE Edition)

Detail

Basic Blank Service Format (No-tax), or Basic Blank Service Layout (No-tax), provides a simple yet professional and beautiful invoicing form for general service businesses. It contains no fields for specific service business, has two editable columns, no tax.

Invoice Manager for Excel (formerly Excel Invoice Manager) was built with flexibility in mind. It supports custom fields, which you (as an end-user of the invoicing program) could add to database tables and have them mapped to cells on your Excel invoicing template. This, combined with powerful Excel features, such as formulas, makes the invoicing system built based Invoice Manager for Excel flexible enough to handle complex business requirements. For example, to implement discount, you can add it either as a percentage, or as an amount value. So a simple discount field is not enough for you? We have samples here on InvoicingTemplate.com that implements 5 pricing levels, at Five Price Levels (Service, Amount, Custom Column), and Five Price Levels (Service, Amount).

For an edition that supports one tax, please see Basic Blank Service Invoice Format (One-tax). For an edition that supports two taxes, please see Basic Blank Service Invoice Format (Two-taxes). If you need less lines but more space for each item description on your blank service invoice template, see Basic Blank Service Billing Format (No-tax, Long Description), and the one tax format at Basic Blank Service Invoicing Format (One-tax, Long Description), and the two-tax layout at Basic Blank Service Bill Format (Two-taxes, Long Description).

While some businesses prefer customized, no-standard invoicing forms, others find it is much simpler to use a basic invoicing layout, such as the layout implemented by this template - Basic Blank Service Format (No-tax) or Basic Blank Service Layout (No-tax). As a general purpose invoicing template, it does not include fields that are specific to certain businesses, and thus it is suitable for many service business types, like consulting agencies, solicitors and law firms, designers, cleaning service providers, freelancing agencies, accountants and other organizations in similar field.

This template, "Basic Blank Service Format (No-tax)", which you could download for free, calculates subtotal and total automatically using Excel formulas. It has no tax field set. If you have Invoice Manager for Excel installed, it would be easier if you have the need to change its taxing rules - firstly, open this template Basic Blank Service Format (No-tax) as usually. And then, click the Settings button on the "Invoice" ribbon tab. And then, on the Taxes tab of the Settings window, you'll find option for "no-tax", "One tax" and "Two taxes". There are also options for tax names and rates too. Once you've finished settings up these preferences, click the "Apply" button on the button of the "Taxes" tab to have Invoice Manager for Excel adjust the template automatically for you.

This template includes two columns inside the printable form, "Description" and "Amount", which are both editable columns. As you can see the sample templates here on InvoicingTemplate.com, a column may be put inside the printable area, or outside printable area; could be editable or not-editable (filled automatically). This type of flexibility gives Invoice Manager for Excel the ability to handle various different invoice and receipt forms.
