Building Contractor Invoice Sample

This building contractor invoice template is decorated with an image on the form. The image shows a 3D puppet building a house, which is printable and is included on PDF invoices too. Try this free template if you are a civil contractor in the construction industry.

The form layout is based on the Mixed Tax Rates in an Invoice (7 Columns) (c5035). It keeps the original main layout. For example, it still has seven columns and calculates taxes separately for "Material" and "Labor". On the other hand, it also changed a lot, including the addition of images of a construction worker and a house.

Each cell on the "Type" column is a drop-down list that allows you to choose from two possible values: "Material" and "Labor".

The "Tax Rate" cells show the applied rates. They are calculated using Excel's "VLookup" formula. For example, on the first line, the tax rate is calculated using the formula shown below:

=IF(oknProductType_1="",0,VLOOKUP(oknProductType_1,$M$34:$N$35,2,FALSE))

"$M$34:$N$35" is the area where it shows all the possible tax names and rates. The existing values are just placeholders. You have to change this before you use it for creating invoices.
