This Excel invoice template designed for Canadian ADP invoice features a number of custom fields that are added specially for ADP invoicing. Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is a beneficial program for anyone needing to access Government assistance for pressure modification devices (compression garments). This Canadian ADP invoice template includes fields for "ADP Claim #", "Health Card #", "Serial #", "Benefit Code". All these are defined as custom field (user-defined field), so they can be save to the backend database when you click "Save To DB" on the "Invoice" worksheet, or click the "Save Invoice" button on the task pane.
This Excel form has 8 columns on the detail section, including "Product ID", "Side", "Description", "Qty", "Unit Price", "Extended Price" (usually called "Line total" or "Amount" on other templates available here on InvoicingTemplate.com), "Client" and "ADP". the "ADP" column is calculated automatically based "Extended Price" and "Client", using an Excel formula like this (note the question mark "?" here indicates the line number on the detail section):

This template has one tax set by default ("HST"). See Canadian Invoice Template with HST (c6020) for another example on this topic. If you need to change the tax calculations, click the "Settings" button on the "Invoice" ribbon tab, and then go to the "Taxes" tab.
On the bottom of the invoice form design, you can find calculation for subtotal, HST rate and amount, shipping cost (this field is manually editable) on creating invoices. These bottom fields are not defined as custom fields, which means you cannot add them to reports before define them as custom fields.
