The previous invoicing templates designed for clothing stores (manufacturers) define a discount amount field. This new cloth bill format in Excel added a discount percentage field, as in many cloth shops discounts are given in percentage first.
We've already published several samples templates for clothing shops, stores or manufacturer here on InvoicingTemplate.com, such as c6001 Clothing Shop Receipt / Sample of Bill, cm003 Clothing Store (Manufacturer) Invoice with Size Breakdown, cm004 Clothing Store (Manufacturer) Invoice Template with Item Pickup Buttons. Some of them are featured as standard invoicing formats.
With this design for cloth shopping, the form layout is also rearranged so that the "Bill To" and "Ship To" section appear on the same horizontal line. The logo image for clothing shop is moved to the new location too. There are now 12 columns in the printable invoice - Style and color, Size-XS, Size-S, Size-M, Size-L, Size-XL, size-O/S, Size-14, Size-16, Units (i.e. Quantity), Cost (Unit Price), and Line Total.
On the bottom of the invoicing form, we've added a sample explanation for payments - "All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt. No returns accepted without prior authorization. Any account placed for collection is the responsibility of the debtor, including all fees incurred. A $xx fee will be charged for returned checks." This is a static text statement that does not change from bill to bill. You can change this after switch the template into design mode.
The new discount percentage field, which is a custom field (user-defined field), is add to the bottom of the form layout, to the left of the percentage amount field, marked with "12.5% gray" fill pattern. Note this marked cell is formatted as percentage value. So if you type in 15 into this cell, it shows "15%". The percentage amount is calculated automatically using the following Excel formula:
