Detail
This is a variant of 5 Price Levels (Sales, Amount) invoice template. It differs from the original one in that it is service-oriented, i.e. it has no shipping fields.
It was created by simply moving out all the shipping-related fields, including: the "Ship To" section fields, such as Name, Address, City State and Zip, Country and Contact. The icon button for selecting shipping address should also be moved out of the printable area. Moving an ActiveX control, such as the icon button, is a bit more complex than just moving cells. To move an Active X control out of the printable area, you first need to unprotect the Invoice worksheet, this could be done by clicking the Unprotect Sheet command on the Review ribbon tab in Excel 2007, Excel 2010 and Excel 2013, or in Excel 2003 you have to click Excel menu Tools / Protection / Unprotect Sheet. You can find more samples at our featured galleries Automatic numbering on invoice template and blank invoice templates.
After unprotect the sheet, the second step is to switch to design mode, which is done by clicking the Design Mode button on the Developer ribbon tab in Excel 2007, Excel 2010 and Excel 2013, or in Excel 2003 by clicking the Design Mode command button on the Controls toolbar.
In design mode if you click on the icon button, you will select it - even if you have Invoice Manager for Excel installed, the program will not response to your mouse clicks - this is by design. The purpose of this design is to let you select the control and drag it to a new location.
Once you moved the cells and controls out of the printable area, and done all the other formatting jobs, such as setting colors and background patterns, setting up borders, you need to restore the invoice template to its working state - that is to exit design mode and protect the sheet.
