Designer for home stagers and interior designers, this home staging invoice template features stager images as the background image on the spreadsheet form. It is able to charge different tax rates on materials and labors.
Like a work agreement or contract, a professional invoice is something that is crucial to have in your staging business, whether you're working as a freelancer or a small business. A detailed invoice or bill helps to make sure clients pay on time. Our templates in Microsoft Excels spreadsheet format (".xlsx") could be downloaded for free. You also generate your home staging invoices in PDF format (".pdf" files) using Microsoft Excel.
If you are familiar with Excel, use our template as a starting point, and tailor it to your business. To make sure your design works with Invoice Manager for Excel, be sure to check our design rules explained at customizing invoice template. All templates here on InvoicingTemplate.com adhere to those rules.
The template offers both a "Bill To" section and a "Project Location" section. The fields in the "Project Location" section are those fields for shipping. If he "Bill To" address is the same as the "Project Location", you can fill in the "Project Location" fields easily by clicking the "Same As Bill To" button (Invoice Manager for Excel required).
A staging invoice is also a communication tool with your clients. It outlines how you were staging a property - the scope of the work that you performed, what the fee included and how you worked. Details on how you staged a house could be helpful on getting payment on time.
This template is a modified version of c5034 Mixed Tax Rates (5 Columns). It is able to charge materials and labors on different tax rates. Unlike the Parts and Labor Invoice template (c4071), where the parts (materials) and labor are put into different sections. This template does not have such requirement. Instead, it offers an "Item Type" (a drop-down list) and "Applied Tax Rate" option (a percentage value) for each item. Visit Mixed Tax Rates (5 Columns) for more information on how the taxes are calculated. For more flexible form designs visit our tax invoice formats gallery. The default tax rates of "General" and "Labor" are set to 6% and 5% repectively. Be sure to modify it according to your local tax rules. Visit State and Local Sales Tax Rates in 2017 for more information.
The "Item Type" and "Applied Tax Rate" cells are put outside of the printable area. If you want to show them on the printed invoice (and on the PDF staging invoice), visit Mixed Tax Rates in an Invoice (7 Columns).
