House Rent Receipt Template in Excel spreadsheet ".xlsx" format provides a blank and printable house rent receipt form for you to create house rental receipts. It is also a sample of customizing our free invoicing templates.

This free downloadable receipt template is designed for landlords. If you are a landlord or a tenant wanting your landlord to give you a receipt, the House Rent Receipt Template can come in handy. The spreadsheet template has only one column on the body part, so you can fill in any text to describe the property.

Unlike the sales receipt samples available here on, this house rent receipt template moves the usual "Company Information" section to be below the logo image. The company information section, which is titled with "Landlord" and can be filled with either company information, or personal / individual information, is formatted in the same way as the "Tenant" section. However, the landlord section has all the fields locked, so that if you are using the Invoice Manager for Excel version, where invoice templates usually should be used with protection of the spreadsheet set to enabled, the "Clear & New" command will not erase the information you filled into the landlord section. If you use the Invoice Manager for Excel edition of the house rental receipt template, the receipt# is generated automatically when you save a new receipt. The Rental Receipt Template lets you print rent receipts for payments made by cash, check, or money order. The information can either be pre-populated, or you can print a bunch of blank receipts.

Unlike the Clothing Shop Receipt Template, this house rent receipt template has the taxable column removed. Compared to a complex and expensive invoicing software program, this petty templates offers a budget solution for you to create receipts.

  • Removed all the redundant buttons from the template, such as "oknCboSalesRepName", "oknCboShipVia" and "oknCboPaymentTerm" etc. These button are used on the default template shipped with Uniform Invoice Software, and also on many other templates online here at However they are not used in this template. So removing these buttons won't hurt this template.
  • Add back the "Item#" column -- i.e. the "Product ID" column. This allows you to fill in invoiced items quickly by entering the IDs directly into the cells.
