Solid Surface Firm Estimate Form (IMFE Edition)

Detail

Solid Surface Firm Estimate Form is also called quotation, value bill, bill of estimate, estimate format or estimate form. It provides a printable blank form for you to create beautiful estimate document in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get creator. Sometimes this type of business document is also called evaluation sheet, valuation form, skeleton invoice, estimate sheet.

Form layout

As a solid surface firm your company has built up an enviable reputation for creating truly satisfying and stylish home, modern office and commercial environments at extremely cost-effective rates. You know it is important for you to provide your clients with beautiful and professional business documents, including quotation or estimate document. Note there are difference between an estimate and a pro forma invoice; refer to Free Proforma Invoice Template for more information.

The solid surface firm estimate form designed here by UniformSoft.com meets your requirements for creating quotations and estimates with special fields created solely for your business type. You cater for the growing needs within the industry for a cost effective solution to counter tops, sinks, basins, vanities and many other applications, and supply solid surface product to various industries i.e. Solid Surface Fabricators, Kitchen & Bathroom manufactures and installers, Shop fitters, Laboratories, Schools, Hospitals, Airports and etc. All these can be detailed on the form provided here that can be downloaded for free.

On the top of the template, the left section is designed for your own company information, including a placeholder for your LOGO image, your company name, address, city, state and zip, country, phone and web site address. At the right hand, you won't find the big word 'INVOICE' or something similar that identifies the type of this document. What you can find are 3 important fields: Date, Invoice and Contact Number.

The following section details your customer information, including name and address etc.

The next section is created specially for solid surface business type. First, there is the big label 'Estimate'. Second, on the next line there is a label ' Interior Designer' and a field for you to enter interior designer.

Notes to Invoice Manager users: The interior designer has an icon button near it. Clicking the icon button will bring up a data list window where you can select the interior designer. This list uses the Sales Rep Name table in the database. To set up your interior designers, first click the Settings button on the Invoice worksheet, then go to the Misc Data tab, click the Edit button on the Sales Rep Name line.

The invoice body section has 5 columns inside the print area. They are 'Code', 'Description', 'Sq. Feet', 'Rate' and 'Total Amount'. Total amount is calculated using square feet and rate. And for Invoice Manager users, the icon column outside the print area lets you select products and items from a list window so that you don't have type repeat information (product and item name, price etc.) again and again. The 'Taxable' checkbox column, which is available in both the free version and the Invoice Manager version, allows you to specify whether each item is taxable. If you uncheck a product or an item, the line will be excluded from tax calculation.

The bottom section summarize a document, where you can find the fields such as subtotal, tax, transportation, total, paid, total due. All these fields are calculated using Excel formula, except 'transportation' and 'paid' -- these two fields are manually editable.

The 'Terms and Conditions' section shows you the terms and conditions for your products and services.

  1. 75% Advance Payment.
  2. Transportation and Handling will be charged extra.
  3. 5% Vat will be charged extra.
  4. Actual measurement may vary when work is done.
  5. Material kept overnight will be Clients responsibility.

The terms and conditions listed above are just a sample of how to place static text on the estimate form that doesn't change once the design of the form is finished. Your terms and conditions surely could vary. To change the static text labels, simply unprotect the worksheet and then type in your own text to create your own estimate form that is suitable for your own solid surface business.
