screenshot for Commercial Template Sample: Adding Insurance Cost Field

Detail

This commercial invoice template adds the "Insurance Cost" and "Currency Symbol" fields to its original version.

The other templates that contain the "insurance cost" and the "currency symbol" fields are:

These insurance and currency code fields provide important information about international trading. As shown in Incoterms Rules (c9005), many incoterms rules specify how the insurance cost will be handled.

In this example, we placed the insurance and currency fields in the F15:K15 range. This was done by unmerging the original "Country of ultimate destination" cell to make space for the new cells. We also rearranged the "Country of Export" and "Country of Manufacture" cells. By moving the fields and labels, we aligned all the content in the F13:K17 section to make the form look professional and beautiful.

The cells for the newly added fields are named "oknInsurance" and "oknCurrencyCode", respectively. In the underlying database tables, the corresponding fields are named "Insurance" and "CurrencyCode".

The formula of the total cell is changed to the following:

=SUM(oknLineTotal_1:oknLineTotal_12)+oknInsurance
